The Most Expensive Home Ever Sold In Boston

The sale of the 13,000 square foot penthouse on the 60th floor of Millennium Tower closed for $35,000,000. This takes the record for the most ever paid for a private home in Boston.

The buyer was John Grayken, a private equity billionaire originally from Cohasset. The penthouse has been asking 37,500,000 which mean Grayken got it for a $2.5 million discount.

Millennium Place Penthouse Sells for $4M

In March, the impressive Penthouse B at Millenium Place chopped its price again to $4,599,000. The 2,313-square-foot luxury unit, with 1,000 square feet of sweeping outdoor space with hot tub switched listing brokerages. The condo had been listed for as much as $5,099,000 way back in August 2015 but just closed for a cool $4,000,000.
